After playing Gamebattle matches since the game came out the 11th November of 2016, SDG Burn managed to make it to MLG’s Fall 2016 Season Playoffs, where only the best 32 European teams can get in.

Donderdag 7 juli was de eerste dag van het ESL Benelux kampioenschap 2016. Asser Gaming, Asterion, LowLandLions en Venko Gaming streden in de Amsterdam Arena om de eerste plaats in Counterstrike : Global Offensive.
Vrijdag 8 juli werd het ESL Benelux kampioenschap League of Legends gespeeld. Asterion, ECVisualize, Sensei eSports en Lachende Gerdas speelden om de hoofdprijs in de Amsterdam Arena.
Esports beleef je momenteel ook in de 2 meest bekende multifunctionele stadions van Nederland: Ahoy en de Amsterdam Arena. Het zijn opwindende tijden in de Competitive Gaming scene van Benelux.
